FAQ:

  • Q: I did evaluate PIToday and now purchased it. However the trial period was over and I don't know were to put in the registration key.
    A: Please go to "Start/Settings/Today/Items/PIToday" and click on "Options". Here you go to the "Register" tab and put in the key.

  • Q: There is an empty gap left of the status bar/check boxes. Can I remove it?
    A: Yes you can. Go to Options|Global and uncheck "Category Icons" and "Attached Icons".

  • Q: I try to open the date picker but just get the last calendar view in PI instead
    A: If the right navigation bar in PI CAV is closed the date picker icon in PIToday will not work. You open the navigation bar by double tapping on the calendar tab in PI.

  • Q: None of my appointments/tasks are displayed on the today screen.
    A: There could be a reason for this. First make sure you have "display appointments" and/or "display tasks" enabled in PIToday. Secondly, double check your filter settings to see if your events are filtered out

  • Q: I had a pre-Release version installed. Should I do anything prior to install the released version?
    A: Yes, you can do something. Please make sure you uninstall any previous version according the readme file that came with it. Please also look in the registry to see if there are any PIHeute/PIToday settings left under the key "HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Today/Items". If so, delete them and do a soft reset. Look in the Windows folder to see if there are any "PIToday*.dll" files left, if so, delete them.

  • Q: Where did you get the nice XP look on your screen images?
    A: This is "Icbar" with a skin from "Juni". Please use your favorite search engine to find it on the Web.
